Python Rocks!

I have heard a lot about how cool Python is as a programming language (the folks at Google and NASA use it). After seeing how Python one-liners can bust Project Euler problems (I have been using R), I think it is absolutely necessary for me to learn this sexy (R is gorgeous too) language. It’s the language of the future if you are going to work in bioinformatics. Some very smart people have created very efficient codes to handle data manipulation and analysis in bioinformatics, and these are available in Python packages.

I am going to rant a bit about Python this year so watch this space :).
