SSGS 6111 Biostatistical Analysis and Interpretation

This postgraduate level course focuses on the use of R to perform biostatistical analyses.

Erratum: Tutorial 1, Question 1: par(mfrow(2,2)) should be changed to par(mfrow=c(2,2))

Data set: patients_age (copy and paste onto a text file; remember to remove the page number)

R function: sample size calculation (updated)

Grading: a) Tutorial 2: submit Question 1 on 22 March 2011 ; Tutorial 3: submit Question 2 on 29 March 2011; Tutorial 4: submit Question 2 on 5 April 2011; Tutorial 5: submit Question 2 on 5 April 2011.

Erratum: 14/11/2012 Page 4, Week 10 material:
“The margin of error is 2.23x0.8/sqrt(10) = 0.56.” is erroneous. Instead of 0.8, it should be 2.4, so that the result is 1.69. Please replace similar error in the next line as well.

In the example for sample size calculation, 0.8 should be changed to 2.4 as well.
